Dr. Chelsi grew up in Glendale, Arizona where she always knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian. Her childhood was spent bringing home and caring for a variety of animals from cats and dogs to snakes, lizards, and birds. She started volunteering for animal shelters as soon as she could and decided to dedicate her life to helping animals in need.

Dr. Chelsi’s passions lie in small animals and exotic medicine – helping pets live happy, healthy lives.

Dr. Chelsi joins Camelwest Animal Hospital after graduating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and attended Louisiana State University for her clinical year.

When Dr. Chelsi isn’t treating her patients, she can be found painting, crafting, making costumes for her cats (Spyro and Alchemy) or spending time with her family. A fun fact about Dr. Chelsi is that she got scuba diving certified while attending vet school and dove coral reefs in the Caribbean!
